A day's work of baking.

HTML clipboardHTML clipboard

Whew! My feet are aching and I'm awful tired... cos.. cos... I've been baking straight from 11am to 5pm! Gong-gong and Popo came up from melaka for the day and me and mummy undertook this fun task of baking tea. I'm still grateful for the Kenwood Premier Daddy bought.. saved us a LOT of work!

Ok, I started out with making the pie doughs for 2 quiches and a pecan pie.

Saturday night I made the great weeping coffee meringue pie, also featured here.

Pecan Pie

Quiche-Quiche

And the Cuppies: Italian Meringue Buttercream

Aren't these swirls cute? Shows how much I learnt in class, and 1 class really makes a difference. The color of the BC is SO cute becos I used brown sugar... so got peachy color. Daddy's cam is great.

AH my favorite choc roses...

My lovely cuzzins Eunice and Rachel were here, so they were given the task of liberally sprinkling the cuppies with hundred and thousands. They had fun!

Ok I will post up a pic of the whole dinner/tea later (at 5:30 we started eating, was in such a rush!).

Menu:

Profiteroles with Creme Mousseline

Pecan Pie

Two Quiche Lorraines

Banana Cake

Butter Cupcakes with Italian Meringue Buttercream

Pasta Salad

Japanese Jelly

etc.etc. So you know what I spend the whole day on today. =) Ravioli coming soon. The cuzzins of mine - Handsome Boy John and Slim Jim Jerimiah are here to stay the week during the hols
